  Took my mother for afternoon tea food was of a good standard but service wasn't the best the girl brought the cake stand and literally plonked it down in front of us balancing on a saucer already on the table and walked off without saying a word. I find this very rude and that was the last time we saw a member of staff. No enjoy your food nobody coming up to see if everything was OK.
  Not good service so don't think I will be returning which is a shame as I have always regarded Valerie Patisserie one of my favorites.
